A Sacramento car accident injured seven people on Monday night on the Capital City Freeway, north of E Street. All victims of the vehicle crash were taken to UC Davis Medical Center and Kaiser South Sacramento Center. The California Highway Patrol reports that there were no deaths, however victims suffered serious personal injuries.
The initial accident happened between a Honda CR-V and a motorcycle. Two other vehicles that attempted to avoid hitting the car and the motorcycle rolled off the freeway embankment on the 29th Street. The Sacramento car crash remains under the investigation. It is not known if the alcohol and/or drugs were involved.
