Four people were injured in Amador car accident on Sunday. According to the California Highway Patrol, this crash occurred at Highway 49 and Industrial Boulevard.  Louise Henderson, 77 and a Sacramento resident and her 85-year-old passenger, Mary Leskey were moving in a southbound direction on Highway 49.  Suddenly, they passed through a red light at the intersection with Industrial Boulevard. At that point, their vehicle collided head-on with a Honda being driven by Debra Mayer, 54 and a resident of San Andreas.  Ms. Mayer suffered minor injuries.  After this initial collision, Henderson’s car veered out of control and crashed into a Chevrolet, injuring an occupant of that vehicle.  Both Ms. Henderson and her passenger sustained significant injuries and were rushed to a nearby hospital in serious condition.
