California Highway Patrol reports that small car and a commercial truck were involved in a fatal accident at around 6 a.m. this morning on Highway 99 near Elverta Road. Although details of the collision are still under investigation, it appears that the collision started with one vehicle hitting the side of the other.  This Highway 99 accident is being investigated by the California Highway Patrol and the coroner’s deputies.
